True Credit?

A few of you said you use True Credit - how does that help monitor all (3) CRs?  Is there a trusted source for all 3?

Thanks!

Re: True Credit?

You get daily pulls for all three and alerts as things change.. just ignore the scores.

This might just be my reports but I am finding the Equifax portion to be missing a lot of info in the tradeline history. I am not going to continue the service after this first month. I can get EQ report with two scores very cheaply. I'll pull the TU and EX periodically from FICO maybe three times per year. It's enough for me now.

Re: True Credit?

I keep hearing that True Credit scores are FAKO not FICO and in most cases those scores don't match FICO.  OK... what about the information on the reports though?  Will a MyFICO purchased Experian report match a True Credit purchased Experian report in regards to content?

Re: True Credit?

I have not found any difference in what is on my reports as far TL's are concerned the only thing different is the scores and when alerts are sent. MyFico alerts lag about a week behind TC alerts for me anyway.

Re: True Credit?

It seemed as though the website for TrueCredit through TransUnion only provided the TransUnion monitoring, that's why I inquired.

I'm ok not seeing the scores, I'll get those through FICO, but I want to keep watching the credit, and BTW, does anyone think that what they see is different than what creditors see?

I mentioned on this site that I had a mortgage lender pull my credit back in Jan - it was of course the (3) reports and nowhere on there did it show the IRS tax lien...that lien was filed back in October, so why the heck didn't it show?

Re: True Credit?

TrueCredit for $9.95 a month gives you TU only. You can upgrade for $14.95 a month and get all three. Or, like I do, and I recommend, use this Walmart link and get all 3 for $11.21 a month.

Re: True Credit?

It has been very helpful for me, I mainly use it to check my credit reports daily. For the most part it has been pretty accurate. The credit alerts appear to come faster than Credit Watch also. It's nice to not have to pay to see each change that goes on your creidt report especially when you are activelyw orking on your credit.

Re: True Credit?

I dig TC. I really like the ability to monitor changes daily since, like many here, I've always got something cooking that will affect my score when it updates. I've learned to ignore the scores though as they are way off my FICO.
