Truecredit

I have been using truecredit for a few months now and love it.

but for the past two weeks I havent been able to pull my reports. It said the credit bureaus are not responding at this time.

Well I contacted truecredit, they said my file had become too large to pull directly from each bureau, so they would have to cancel my service. Then I am to try back in 30 days to see if anything has changed.

I NEED a credit monitoring service that allows me to pull daily. I find it odd that my files are too large to pull as, I am only 18 and have 4 credit cards. I dont know where to turn to, any advice?

Re: Truecredit

I have had TC for over a year and half and I have never heard of anything like this.  My account alone when I started my repair should have locked up their server (26 derog's and 8 other accounts).  Do you have anything else on your CR that you know of?  Have you run your FICO reports lately to see what could be bogging you down with TC?  Try calling them back and speaking to someone different and if they tell you the same thing, ask them to explain exactly what is so large about your file that you can't access it.  I would still run MyFICO for peace of mind though.  Good luck.

Re: Truecredit

There isnt anything else on there that I know of. This is why I need a monitoring service, things change daily as I am a fraud victim. But there is no way, 50 things appeared on my reports over night.

Re: Truecredit

Call them again and have them explain exactly what the problem is.  Consider running your FICO's as well or contacting the CRA's directly.

There are other monitoring services available you could check out.  Check out EQ's service and see if that will work for you.  Check with others in the forum's here that use EQ's service and see how well it works for them.  Good luck.

Re: Truecredit

Since I always use TC, I can't give you a definite answer to your question.  Hopefully someone else is reading your post and can answer for what the other services provide.  Here are a few links to check out though.  Make sure you read up on them thoroughly before making a choice.

Re: Truecredit

wow, i'm really sorry to hear that!  sounds like a strange situation, considering you are so young.

i have had truecredit for probably about 6 years, & never had any issues.  i would try calling them up, & ask them to really spell out the problem for you.  if they can't, ask for a supervisor, & keep escalating til you get a real answer.

Re: Truecredit

Same thing happened to me a few months ago with TC. They cancelled my account and gave me a new one. They never could explain what happened. Or maybe they did explain it  - but I don't speak Swahali.
