I recently applied for a small loan.
When I received the letter saying it was a decision based on a experian credit report I was turned down because..
insuffient credit history
presence of collection
NOW, here's my question..
I have one store credit card dated on my account back to April 1998, almost 10 years, no late payments? How can this be?
I do NOT have any collections on my credit report.
When I called the internal department about this, all they gave me was a address to send my concern to. NOT exactly GREAT customer service.
I did write a letter with a copy of the credit report dated from the turn down date.
Is this the best process?
thanks
