Has anyone ever had a problem signing up for Credit Check Total? When I try I get an error message saying unable to verify my identity. This has been ongoing for the last week. None of the CSRs or Supervisors have been able to fix the problem or adequately explain what the problem is. Any past experiences would be appreciated because I'm beyond frustrated!
Same thing happened to me. During that same week I couldn't get Equifax or Experian to show my credit reports online, I was trying to get my annual reports for free which is what alerted me to this problem. I called both EQ and EX, EQ told me there wasn't a problem as far as they could tell. The first EX rep told me someone else had very similar information to what I have which caused the problem, the second EX rep I spoke with said this wasn't true and that there were no issues at all with my report and that he had no idea why my verification was getting rejected.
After a couple of weeks of this nonsense I called EX one last time and a rep told me to try using a different browser. I did and my reports showed up online immediately, apparently it was a browser issue the entire time. I have no clue how CCT ran into verification issues though, as there was never a problem from EX's end. Try another browser is all I can suggest, it's what worked for me at least in terms of getting my annual reports, I never did go back to CCT.
Its the browser, I mentioned it in the epic thread. I'll post it again since that thread is out of control.
Use Internet Explorer for Credit Check Total.

I'm having the same issues but I only have Apple devices. Are there options for Mac users?

There are different browsers for Mac. Have you tried another? What have you been using?
The site is very picky about browsers. I was unable to sign up using firefox or chrome, and the attempts left partially created accounts that the CSRs were unable to do anything with. IE 9 worked like a charm. I later accidentally tried to sign in with firefox and got logon errors.
