Unsecured personal line of credit

Anyone have any suggestions of the best unsecured personal lines of credit? I frequently purchase auction/forclosures and rehab them and being able to draw cash quickly with out fee's for a 3-4 month period of time is very important. Currently I have:

NFCU 15k Nav Credit @ 15%
Penfed 10k LOC @ 13%
BCU 25k LOC @ 9.74%

I'd love to add a couple more lines to my profile.
Thank You

Re: Unsecured personal line of credit

Sorry, I don’t mean to threadjack here but if anyone could else add whether or not all LOCs report as “paid” when they go unused or if that’s something specific to NFCU along with their suggestions I’d really appreciate it.

Good luck OP. I’ll be following this thread!

Re: Unsecured personal line of credit

Keybank ploc goes as high as 50k, has annual fee of $25 I think. I was offered the ploc when I opened a checking account online. No poi, easy quick and painless. Pulled EQ, tons of new accounts and inqs when I apped back in July. Like USBANK, they only report the balance as of the last day of the month.
Current Scores as of 8/18/17 all FICO 8 EQ: 695 EX: 673 *fico2 699 TU:645 bio has more.

Re: Unsecured personal line of credit

Have you tried working with a couple of local banks or credit unions? My Dad was a lawyer, he would frequently have local banks call him about properties that they were going to foreclose on. They typically offered a line of credit if it needed to be rehabed.

Re: Unsecured personal line of credit

I have a few from local banks NFCU & BCU. Most of the major's dont offer the lines. Right now I am gardening since December before I try Wells Fargo & US Bank again in May.

I would love to get a Key Bank line, as ive seen they offer some pretty generous lines. I don't mind annual fee's, but I don't live in a state that they are offered in. Any idea the line size limits Langley FCU offers? I couldn't find much information on them?

I checked myfico 3b report, and the NFCU loc says PAID OR PAYING AS AGREED for transunion & Equifax, & this account is in good standing for experian.

Thanks!

Re: Unsecured personal line of credit

Sean,

I have a personal line from Wells Fargo. It's easy to use and funds instantly transfer to my Wells Fargo bank account. They offer personal lines up to $100k (although may not get day 1) and has a $25 annual fee. I only use mine for cash flow needs under 60 days. I found if I'm going to need 3+ months or longer, then it's cheaper to do a "BT" on credit card at 3% as some let me deposit funds right to my bank account for only 3% upfront fee/0% 12 month rate.

Good luck!!

If you don't have any kind of balance, does it just report as $0? I have a personal line of credit option with Wells Fargo and they're offering 0.50% off for being a long time member, so it's something I'm considering.

I think I've found the sacred map that may lead me to this garden everyone keeps talking about.

So they only pulled EQ for your PLOC?
