I have done some reading and I am preparing to start the HIPAA process on some unpaid medical collections. I am prepared to PIF if they verifiy. From what I understand, after Opting Out, I am supposed to update my credit report info, or delete as much as possible. Does this mean getting as many previous addresses removed as possible, even if they are correct? I don't want to do anything that will jeopardize my chances of clearing collections these off. Thanks in advance for any info.
