Variety of Credit Issues and Questions.

1. I have a collection account with Afni-bloom (cingular) being reported. What is the first thing I should do? Validate? Pay for delete? 2. I have a BP card that I paid off, they had incorrect info as to the history on it, it was fixed but now they have all good standing months and then randomly a "foreclosure/repossession" for one month. It was the month it was closed (due to being overdue which was corrected for all the months before and after) furthermore I was on a deployment to Kuwait during the month they reported this. They also want a copy of my credit report in regards to this dispute? 3. I have a direct loans student loan that had incorrect information of being past due etc., i sent in my military orders and etc. in school verification to cover the time period they were reporting. They too want a copy of my credit report? -any help would be greatly appreciated

I would not send my CR to anyone!!!! the law states that all furnishers must report 100% accurate info. IF they can not then they must delete.

Federal SOL on cell phones is 2 years........send a DV CMRRR to afni-bloom

BP card....dispute with all CRAs reporting in writting by fax or CMRRR.....tell them that this was a CC.....foreclosure/repo is incorrect! *never late*

Make BP correct it by going through the CRAs......If dispute comes back and hasn't been changed.....send a letter to the OC (ITS)....if they do not correct you intend to sue.

On some things (nothing that you have here) you might need to send copy of your orders BUT not your CR......

Never talk to a CA never sign anything going to a CA!!!!!!! everything in writting.

Do you have any idea when you made your last payment on the cell phone?

Although I hear constantly not to send a copy of CR, SallieMae flat-out refused to even speak to me until I sent my info along w/ a copy of my CR. I sent it (requesting deletes due to deployment & copy of orders proving the timeperiod) CMRRR twice and both times they responded that they could not respond to my request until they had a copy of the CR showing the inaccurate info.

They were adamant about it.. So I sent them a copy of the corresponding page only, w/ all other info blacked out.

I would like to hear from other mods on this issue, b/c SallieMae would not budge until they had a copy of the CR..

the last time i made a payment was...jeez like 2006 or something with cingular, some time ago

it says date of last activity nov. 2006 which sounds about right as to when the last payment as made...they have no contact info, i've actually never recieved anything from them in the mail, moved a few times, anyway it is reported as 120 days past due, almost like an installment account or cc?
