Verizon Wireless Credit Pull

I'm out of contract with AT&T but am thinking of moving over to Verizon because the coverage is a little bit better in my area.

I haven't had a credit check for a cell phone since 2008 and that was when AT&T pre-approved me with no deposit. I wasn't monitoring my credit then so I have no clue what bureau they checked or if they even did a pull.

Wanted to know if it would be a HP or SP and what bureau it would be on.

Thanks all!

It will be a HP but not sure of the CRA they would use.

Re: Verizon Wireless Credit Pull

VZW pulled Experian in Oct 2011 / NYC

Verizon FIOS pulled Equifax in Aug 2013 / NYC

If you authorize it, Verizon will use the same credit check for multiple products (i.e. FIOS and Wireless). These were hard pulls.
