WaMU Question...

What kind of Fico scores are needed to get their CC? I was sent a prequalifed app. My score is in the upper 600's.

Also I thought they where in trouble can they STILL afford to be extending credit out?

IMO- scores don't mean that much w/ WAMU

Need to be over 600 (700 is better), UTL low, Good DTI, no baddies in a year+ 

This is purly IMO- I have seen 630 declines, 580 approvals, 730 declines,

I was shot down with TU at 670ish.

Is there still a WAMU? 

Edit to add....I did have an upaid CO at 1.5 yrs then.

Also, Chase is backing WAMU, so their doors are still open. But expect your WAMU to change over to Chase in the future if approved. Never ever never be late. It would be next to impossible to GW once the switch happens (like with Providian).
