Hi all,
I'm new to the forums, but I have been following this site closely for a while now, and it's been a great place to learn and rebuild my credit.
I wanted to start with purchasing a CMS to see my reports, I found that wells Fargo does a CMS (Enhanced Identity Theft Protection Plan), although does this include all 3 reports every month? Or just one? I see it wasn't mentioned under the CMS sticky, and wanted to clarify for anyone that uses this service.
Thanks
Yes it produces a monthly report that includes each of the big 3. It is useful for this, as well as tracking your scores for all 3. Your score changes and is updated each time there is a change on your report for one of the bureaus. And there is a forcasting tool that doesnt really work. The idea is to input a scenario such as "pay bills on time for 3 months" and it will show you how your score will improve. I didnt see the predictions come true :) And I'm not sure that the scoring is exactly what you would get from the bureaus, but a similar scoring rubric. Wells Fargo is $1 for the first month and $12.99 for each month after that. I called Privacyguard when I was with Wells Fargo IETP and they said they use the same database, but is a few bucks more.
