Got a question for everyone...
So it appears some company called Westlake has taken over Blispay portfolio and in the process of this, messed my account up. They are claiming I have a far higher minimum due than I did. My understanding is they have to honor the original agreement people had with Blispay right? They cant just decide "oh its a loan and now we are upping your payment" without being in violation of the original agreed upon contract I had with Blispay. Or am I wrong?

Some terms and conditions can be preserved, but not all of them, especially since they're no longer known as Blispay and the servicer of any remaining accounts with balances are now with Westlake Portfolio Management, LLC. My suggestion would be to reach out to them at (877) 285-6845 to obtain more guidance on the revised terms or email them at [email protected].
As an example, this would be no different than say...Capital One changing the terms of any accounts with a revised APR and/or new minimum payment thresholds or changes in late fee amounts, etc., so as long as they provide notice of those changes.
What kind of balance do you still have on the card? It's been literally a zombie account for almost 2 years. Maybe it's time to consider transferring the balance elsewhere, if anything.

^^^ This...
IIRC, Westlake is a collection agency. It would probably be wise to get whatever remaining balance you have paid off or moved elsewhere ASAP as I wouldn't want Westlake showing up on my reports for any reason!

They are doing the same thing to me at this very moment. Called them and they are "sending it to be reviewed" but have done this once a week for the past month with no resolution. I finally found their contact page that has their board and leaders emails and sent them an email thursday. Someone contacted me back this morning and said they were looking over my last Blispay statement and would call me back. Have not heard anything yet but will report it here when I get an answer. They are trying to charge my 2500ish more than I owed!
Are you in 'Collections' due to past payment issues or just paying down a balance owed with no past issues on payment? This sounds like 'collections on a past due balance '.
echoing a previous posting's sentiment...these accounts have been zombies for a few years ... they should be paid off ... unless u are past due and facing financial hardships.
