What can I do about an inaccurate judgment?

Last October when I checked my credit report, I saw 5-6 unpaid collections(all for small medical bills). I called the agencies to pay and paid each in full. When I talked to one of the agencies, a lady told me that one of the accounts was about to go to court, and to keep it from going to court, that I would need to pay in certified funds (which I did with a money order). When I checked my credit report this month, I saw the following public record:
Derogatory Public Record #1
 Type   Legal Item
 Court Number
Amount $651
Date Filed   August, 2006
Status Date   October, 2006
Type Code  Satisfied Judgement
 Status
 Date Reported   Not on Record
I moved to another state one year ago. After reading these boards, I believe the agency may have delivered a summons to my previous address, and I never got it. If this is what happened, I am not sure if it is legal - the state was Mississippi. Should I contact the credit agency or the city clerk's office. Also do you think I could call the clerk's office instead of having to drive the three hours to get there.

This was only reported to one CRA, and that score is almost 75 points lower than the other two.
Thanks in advance!
