I have been making bigger and bigger payments to my credit cards since i have been working on rebuilding my credit. This month i made 7,800$ in payments which brought down my credit utilization ratio to under 30% but my credit score accross the credit bureaus credit went down. The weird thing is that it has consistently gone up every month with the payments i have been making. I also saw this month that Bank of america "added a remark on my account"
i have called credit karma, experian, bank of america and nobody can tell me why. Hopefully someone here knows and can help me!
thanks in advance.
Welcome @Farid1250
A remark is a note that one of your lenders has added to your credit report to provide additional information. A remark isn't necessarily bad. It can be a positive, negative, or neutral description of the account. Dont worry about what CK says. You can pull your free reports from annualcreditreports.com and see if any changes occurred. Lets us know what you find out.
Where did you see this drop? If on CK, ignore.
A remark being added wouldn't cause a score drop by itself.
As for the meaning of that, it just means a comment was added to your account. Pull up your full reports as @FireMedic1 said and look at the remarks section on your accounts to see what was added.
