What happens if you don't get a receipt from a CMRRR?

When I sent my batch of DVs/OCs on 3/6, I got most receipts back the following week, and as late as last Monday. But for one, Cap1, I never recieved anything.

Is that some stupid game they play or should I send again?

do you have the certified mail reciept- the piece of white and green paper? It has a number on there, go to track and confirm on usps.com.... it will tell you if it was recieved... sometimes it takes longer than it did to get there to return to you.. so be patient! If it was to a p.o box, it could take even longer if the company doesnt check their po boxes everyyday...

 I know it can be frustrating, but jsut go to the post off website, and look and see if it was delivered.

I had 1 that didn't come back for 6 weeks........go to the PO  they will print it out on their letterhead   I think its better that way  much easier to read and can be sent to CRAs if needed!!!

When I got the GG  I couldn't read it.

Did Cap1 sign for it???

I think I screwed up and didn't keep reciepts (i know i know). I was just sending a dozen or so out and cleaning as I went (I know I know).

So far the only one w/o a reciept is Cap1, they ARE a PO Box. I reallllly need them off, they are on all 3 CRAs and just turned down for Citi because of 'Delinquency' and I don't htink they are referring to the unpaid collection even though newer.

You will have to guess at 30 days  if you don't hear from them  you will have to start over.....those CRT papers are very important!!!!!!

I take whatever letter it is & staple CERT paper to it  and then when I get GG  i staple that also  this way you do not lose.

did you put the CERT #  on the letters??

I wrote the Cert # on the top of each letter before I sealed it, pulled the Cert 'Stamp' off and pasted it on and then folded the cert thing over the top and then pasted the reciept thingy on the back. I just odn't remember a receipt

hahahhaha  been there done that......we are not talking about a receipt that the clerk gave you for payment.

I take everything to the PO  and fill out the CERT paper  with CAs address     fill out both sides of the GG    I then give it all to the clerk      I would have all the wrong addys and GG mixed up.

If you copied all the letters  with the CERT #   go to usps  and look up tracking info.  that will tell you if they signed for it and when

No, I was a total dumb-***. The funny thing I was sooo organized. All my letters, envelopes at the ready, used the auto-pay machine to precisely weigh and get certified labels, set up a little assembly line, diligently filled it all out, sealed, cleaned the area, logged it all in my Outlook (who sent to, date, etc.). Everything except saving the Certified #s for each letter. AAAARGH. Anyway, I'm going to assume Cap1 is a week or so behind the rest because it is a PO Box.

you need to put cert #s  on each letter  at the top    it doesn't need to be typed  I just write it in.  you should then copy the letters with the # on it......I take 1 at a time  into the litchen & do all address  cert GG   then    put it in save place...take next one into kitchen & do the same BUT  I let the PO attach everything!
