What makes the Credit score Rise?

I first sign up for Truecredit on aug. 20th and then update the score 5 days later and it jumped high. I was not excepting it to.

Now I update it everyday for the trending graphs that way I know how my credit going. Since Aug 25th it has not moved.

What impacts and when will it move again??

-Thanks

Re: What makes the Credit score Rise?

I am referring to my report, is this typical for Transunion to be slower in correcting and catching up with other two?

Re: What makes the Credit score Rise?

TC is good for keeping track of your various accounts - and that's all it's good for.

The scores you get there are not worth the paper you use to print them on. They are not FICO scores.

Re: What makes the Credit score Rise?

As mentioned, scores from TrueCredit are not FICO scores.

They are FAKO scores. As for what makes them change, it could be anything from what time the sun comes up to what time of night you go to bed.

In my own expierence, my FAKO scores from TrueCredit move opposite of my FICO scores, but not by any set distance.

To the other poster in regards to TU being lower.........look at the differences in the two reports. Hardly ever, I don't ever remember hearing of it, will you hear of anyone having 3 identical reports.

Re: What makes the Credit score Rise?

Those aren't your real FICO scores though Andrew if you got them through TrueCredit. They have no relation to real FICO scores. TU could be your lowest FICO score for all we know.

Re: What makes the Credit score Rise?

Most often, the reason your scores are different from cra to cra is because there are different accounts and/or different information reported to each bureau.

For instance, some cc's only report to EX and TU.
Others only report to EQ.

Does this make sense now?

EQ 817, EX 815, TU 813 (Updated 1/5/18: TU 843

Yes, this is true for about 85% of the members here on the forums. For the other 15%, Equifax is the lolly-gagger.

Quite a few of us found that last November, TransUnion did not update reports at all. Even once. And if they don't update the real report, then all the secondary reports (TrueCredit, myFICO, CreditSecure, etc.) can't update either.

Andrew, the others are correct. You can't predict your FICO's from your TC FAKO's. My EQ FAKO score on TC just jumped 30 points when an extra account reported a balance. No change whatsoever on FICO. Sorry, but TC scores are completely and utterly meaningless.

My TC FAKO's:
EQ: 732
TU: 697
EX: 657

My FICO's:
EQ: 709
TU: 728
EX: 730

These are based on the same info on all reports. Let me know if you see a pattern.

There is no, repeat, no consistency or link between FAKO's and FICO's. OK, I suppose that if a collection popped up, all your scores, FAKO's and FICO's, would drop.
