What numbers to call to update my address with Experian and Equifax?

I have a few old addresses on my credit reports that I want to remove. I called Transunion at the following # and talked to a representative who was very nice and took my address and said it would be corrected and he'd mail me out a summary of my changes:

TU: 1-800-916-8800

However, I tried numbers for Equifax and Experian that didn't seem to work. The number I used for Equifax was:

1-800-685-1111

It had ways to dispute, put a fraud alert, etc., but I wanted to talk to a rep to change my address.

I called the following number for Experian and I couldn't talk to anyone:

1-888-397-3742

Does anyone have #'s for Equifax and Experian that I can call and talk to someone?

So, to have them remove old addresses and correct my current address, I would write them each a letter and fax it to them, and include my name, SSN, current address, and DOB? Just want to make sure that was all safe to put in a fax. I don't see any reason it isn't, just wanted to make sure.
