What's the new Equifax dispute number?

The number on my credit report from a May dispute is now disconnected 888-237-1081

Anyone have the new dispute phone number?

Thank you for your post and information.

Unfortunately that number is their automated number for ordering an equifax report, free annual report, or credit score. Of course, before giving you any of these options they talk your ear off with a 45 second recording advising you that you'll get faster service on various parts of their websites. 

It's amazing how these CRA's aren't, by law, required to give email addresses and phone numbers where you can talk to a person one on one to solve their errors in reporting. unfortunate

Now I'll waste my time filing a new dispute on their site, they'll waste their time researching again, I'll wait 10-12 days for the investigation results, just to get their new phone number where I can call to advise that I have a certified letter from the government to fax them regarding my original dispute. what a mess

Today, I received two numbers from an EQ CSR. They may be posted here somewhere, but it's always good to know how recently a number has actually worked. So...here they are:

EQ Disputes: 866-237-5919 (You will need to enter confirmation # off of EQ reports, but then you will talk to a LIVE person)

EQ Dispute Fax #:  888-826-0573
