Hi - I remember seeing someting on a report showing when an old collection was supposed to fall off. I just pulled up my latest report (have a monthly to fico) and don't see it. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
A collection must become excluded no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD.
The CRAs regularly exclude, and usually provide an estimated exclusion date, of 7 years after the DOFD.
If you dont see either the DOFD or an estimated exclusion date in your commerical credit report, get a copy from annualcreditreport.com.

This post is exactly right. So, maybe it's possible you've reached that point?
