Where to get free yearly credit reports?

Is annualcreditreport.com really where you get your free yearly reports?

It's says I already got my free reports but the last time I requested my free reports was four years ago Smiley Sad

That in itself is a serious concern.  If you are sure that the last time you could have requested your credit reports is four years ago, it at least suggests that an unauthorized person has been using ACR in the last 12 months to access your reports.

 

ACR has a button on its site that reads CONTACT US.  If I were you, I would reach out to them and explain the situation at once.

 

In the meantime, I observe that you also use Credit Karma.  CK will give you access to your EQ and TU reports  as often as once a week.

I tried the "Contact Us" and called there 800 number to no avail. You have very few options and pressing 0 does nothing.

Try contacting each CRA directly.

...and make sure you're regularly reviewing your reports. I'd suggest at least once a year.
