Will my score be hurt from looking twice?

We are preparing to apply for a mortgage, so I pulled my credit reports and "scores" last week. Unfortunately this was before I found out that FICO scores are what I really needed. If I check my FICO scores now, will it be "pinged" because I've pulled my credit reports so recently?

Nope. Pulling your own credit reports does not hurt you in any way.

Welcome to the forums!

You can pull as many times as you wish without affecting your score.

However, it's worth noting that this site, along with Barclays, Discover, and Walmart, offer 08 scores, and the mortgage business typically uses 04 scores.

^ This.  Keep in mind that there are many more than just one FICO scoring model.
