World Debit Cards

What are the US  banks that issue MC World / Visa Signature DEBIT cards? Saw a couple but none in the north east.

(could not open on -line and the nearest branch might as well be on the moon

Part of the issue here might be what you're looking for in a "world" debit card.

One set of benefits is things like buyer protection and so on.

Other benefits like ATM surcharge rebates are available through the debit cards offered by Fidelity, Schwab, and others.

For any debit card, it might be worth scrutinizing just how well you're protected in the event of fraudulent use.

I think Price protection, travel insurance etc seem to kick in at WORLD / SIG level.  I currently have the Schwab debit card and use it for local and international withdrawals mostly. I was just curious and slow friday and all

USAA Federal Savings Bank issues a World MasterCard Debit Card if you upgrade your checking account to Secure Plus for a monthly fee of around $10.
