Hi All,
New to the forum and looking forward to gleaning valuable infiormation in my quest to improve my credit. Was wondering if any of the credit monitoring services are really worth it, seems I've read more bad than good reviews on the myriad of ones out there.
Thx!

I have found Experian Credit Works at $10 mo + tax to be a great value. It gives daily updates on Experian report and 7 or 8 EX FICO scores.

I agree with @SouthJamaica. Experian's $10/month plan provides daily EX and FICO updates. I also use Credit Karma's free service so I know whats on TU and EQ reports. CK does get daily updates, but the updates in mine tend to lag 1-5 days behind the the actual TU & EQ changes.

I am cheap so I have WalletHub for daily TU reports and monitoring, CK for weekly EQ updates and monitoring, and I have the Experian app for free EX FICO8 and monitoring (which is also nice because when an alert is generated, your score and report get refreshed as well).
If I want to get a picture of my scores, I go log in to the Experian website and get a $1 trial of CreditWorks Premium and then cancel it a few days later but since Discover and Synchrony give me free TU FICO8, NFCU gives me free EQ9, and I get free EQ5 from DCU, and free EX8 from Experian I don’t do it often.

Nice review of the free and ultralow cost solutions out there.
Bottom line is that it's easy to get frequent free reports. Free FICO scores are also quite doable.
PS. Citi gives its cardholders a free FICO 8 Bankcard Enhanced score. And as Saeren observes there are lots of free sources of TU and EX scores, with the $1 trial being a nice failsafe for all three bureaus drawn at the same time.
