accounts sold

Hello, another question....Accounts that have a zero balance but are listed as negative accounts due to past delinquencies, do they also bring your score down even though the balance is zero? i.e Several accounts I have were transferred to collection agencies and when that was done, the creditor reported the account with a zero balance. thanks

An OC may report for the full 7-7.5 years   and at the same time assign it to a CA  or sell it to a CA!!

Both can report at the same time.  The worst and hardest to get removed is the OC  CO!!!

It doesn't matter if the Bal. is $ 0    it is still collections  and FICO doesn't care if paid or unpaid   the score remains the same.
