Has anyone heard of this site (prosper)? You can borrow up to 25000 (unscured 3 year loan) by having people/ groups "bid" on you. Has anyone tried this? Not sure I really understand all involved but I would really love to hear from someone that may have tried or is in the process of using this site. It seems like a good idea overall, just a little curious. I would like to borrow the max. amount and I am having no luck any other way. Just purchased a house (<7 months ago) and this seems to be the best idea as heloc will not apply yet. thanks!
