I'm trying to just settle up with everybody and move on.I didn't get a reply from one lender (American General Finance) and then today I get a letter saying if you don't pay us by 21 September our lawyer will seek a judgment. DOFD was in March. I got the same letter, like 2 months ago, but this time it didn't have an amount on it. The first time it was, pay all your back payments or we'll sue. So should I try and send them another PFD to American General or should I send a PFD to the lawyer when I get served? I'm dealing with them exclusively in writing now, 'cause the folks in the office were jerks and I can't take their word for anything. Also, loosely related. I used my POS car as collateral for this loan so they have the title. I'm expecting them to mail me the title when I pay them. It's kinda implied. But do I need to be explicit in the PFD? Should I say, "I expect you to mail me my title when I pay you." I've never had a car loan, so I don't know if they mail you the title at the end or what.

It was March 2007.What's CM# and GC? Who should I mail the DV and PFD to the OC or the attorney?I'm not worried about the car. It would cost them more money to come get it and auction it then they would get for it. I just want the title so I can donate the car or something. I'm just not sure who I'd deal with to get it back.
