i have a couple new cards that i waiting for in the mail captial one cash back rewards, and a chase freedom. when they report to the bureaus will my score go up?
I would think it would depend on your current situation. If you already have a thick file with lots of revolving accounts and a very strong AAoA, already have very low utilization, then a new card or two may not have much of an impact. However if these are your only cards then having new revolving accounts would be a good thing and give you a nice little bump as soon as it starts reporting. You'll also expect a small hit in score from the inquiries it took to get the new cards so keep that in mind as well.
Do you have any other cards? How is you credit report any late payments ?

YMMV everyone is different due to size of CR file, AAoA, INQ's etc etc
I've seen cases when I opened new credit and lost point as well as when new accounts reported and i gained points. Its just to many variables to say will it climb or dive ![]()
Hope this gives you a better picture and congrats on the 2 new cards both nice
