charge off's

hi my bankrupcy is done and over with and has been discharged since april 2008 and my bank is telling me two cards that were on my bankrupcy are saying charge offs so what do i do to fix this? And capital one is wanting me back so do i accept or stay card free.

I too filed bankruptcy but in may 2007..some of my accounts that I included in bankruptcy say included in bankruptcy but also status says charge off..I actually thought it was due to the bankruptcy but now that you say that I wonder if this is hurting me too?

It could have been because the accounts may have already gone to collections (which the credit card company charges off) before you filed bankruptcy..

you need to ( and me too!) file dispute with the status of those cards to change this.

thank you and i am also with* EDITED * and he sent me a free form to get my credit reveiw and then i will be able to dispute them, thanks again and i will let you know asap ok.
