credit gardening

hey all im new here and looking to take some new and exciting steps in my credit life and would like some advice on my next steps

at last look my score is 620( i have a bunch of pending new accounts and inquiries from an application spree to go on so not sure where it will be after that

my utilization should be in the 25 pct range and will likely drop further due to the size of limits on the new accounts

100 pct payment history

0 derogatory marks

8 month history oldest is 2 years newest is today

roughly 15 open accounts and 2 closed ones

20+ inquiries

what should be my next step here besides the obv of letting those inquiries start to fall off

im expecting my score to take a pretty big ding with all the new inquiries and accounts so any advice would be great on my next move

You should do exactly what your subject line is about. Garden for 6-12 months and your scores will steadily rise.

Irish said it and I agree. Make a firm commitment to let things age and get into the garden. After a spree like you've been on it will be tough but it's necessary for your scores to go up and lenders look at you as being stable. Some will say that the 20 inq. are not a lot but that's a bunch to me and it will take time to get them moving off your reports
