how should I pay a co

OK maybe my other post was too long and not clear of what I wanted to know. I can pay a co.  Should I ask the co to be removed before I pay and pay it when it is removed or should I pay it then ask or just pay it and forget it.

Re: how should I pay a co

Did you mean an OC that was CO'd (charged-off)? If so, then your only option to get it removed is via a PFD. Send it to them. If they accept it, then you can send money and they will delete.

Remember, OCs aren't obligated to accept or acknowledge your PFD. Before you PFD, and if you are inside SOL, then make sure you have the ability to pay 100% of what is owed. You could always offer a PFD for less.

Finally, keep an eye on your account's age in relation to the rest of your TLs. Removing it, if older, could mean a score drop. If this account is newer, then expect a decent increase.

Click here for an example of a PFD:

IMO, you don't need to send it CMRRR. Save $5.

If you ask a question and do not get an answer right away....It usually means that the people here can not answer. You need to wait.

If you want to change or reword your post.........above and on the right of the window click options and then click edit!    You do not need to start a new post.
