how to fix too many inquiries

Hi Alll,

Just had a escrow fall through on me. I am taking a break to heal my credit report.

in the last 4 months,  i have 10 hard pulls (3 new credit cards to increase my line of credit to improve my credit worthiness) on my credit report.

My question how do i deal address or remove most of them, before i restart my search for house? Can it be done?

Your input will be sincerely appreciated.

Best,

Newton T. Bass

Re: how to fix too many inquiries

The INQ's will not be removed sorry

You could possibly explained in a manual underwriting

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Re: how to fix too many inquiries

Only time will lesson the impact of the inquiries.  After one year Fico doesn't impact the score. It takes two years before they are removed from your credit report.

You wait for them to fall off or lose their impact.  Keep that in mind before you apply in future.

You can attempt contacting the inquiree and request they recode to soft.

Re: how to fix too many inquiries

I am about to begin the mortgage process myself.  They say for a better chance of approvals no attempts at new credit within 6 months.

so let your inquires age 6 months and start looking.  Also look into getting the financing in order before you start house hunting.  Can help the sadness at not getting the house you want if you wait till you know you will be able to get the one when you see it.

This is what I am going to do meeting with a mortgage broker next week to start the process and I haven't looked at a single home yet.

It is possible but it can't be discussed on this forum.

Indeed.  This thread has run it's course.
