My minimum was due 1/3/26 and i paid on the 1st and i always see on the creditors web site show in progress. Checked the 2nd and didn't show in progress and the same for the 3rd and 4th which didnt make sense. I clicked on payment and it showed it was schueled for the 9th, i thought i clicked the wrong date for payment. I contacted my creditor and was told they don't report late under 30 days.As some time passed i saw past due fee, it didn't show late, but i don't know if they mean the same.. I cancled the ayment for the 9th and payed on the 4th.
On the 12th i checked CK and CS ant they showed my score increased 1 point and current. I checked today and they both show my score dropped 10 points but current.
In the capture from CK it shows 90% on time, but shows good standing, zero lates and current which doesent mke sence to me. ON CK web site i clicked on what changed, it doesnt show late but it shows balance increase. I understand balance increase will have an impact on the score, but it seems odd for a balance increase under a $100 to drop 10 points.
What confusses me is.
1) How does a balance increase change 100% on time to 90%
2) How can it be 90% when in the capture below shows good standing, zero lates and current.
Couple of things. I don't see a 90% reporting, but rather a single month where information wasn't provided by the issuer. This should neither hurt nor help you. Based on the information shown, you are paying as agreed, 100% of the time. As to the increase in amount owed, this most likely raised you to a different threshold of utilization considering the credit limit is small. An extra 100 on a 500 limit is a lot more than an extra 100 on a 5,000 limit. But that can be brought down next month.
I think the big thing you're worried about is the current late. Whatever happened with this payment, it is considered late to the issuer and they can charge a fee. However, it is not considered late for credit reports and scoring since it is less than 30 days. Pay your extra fee and no one knows any different.

Much appreciated, i received an e mail from Equifax for an update and shows zero lates and score increased 1 point.
Hey there @fortis! First thing, you weren't late for credit reporting purposes. You can never be reported late just for missing your due date by a few days. The minimum requirement for a late reporting is being 30 days past your due date. Nothing to worry about there, other than the late fee you incurred and of course how the issuer may view this hiccup.
Also, I strongly advise you stop using Credit Karma. CK is the biggest spreader of credit misinformation out there. The scores they provide are nearly irrelvant VS3, not meaningful FICO like what you'd find on this platform. They completely make up certain credit metrics such as "on-time payment percentage" when number/percentage of on-time payments isn't even a FICO scoring factor. They do that to manipulate/trick people into opening more accounts through their site, which results in a financial gain for them.
They might be anticipating the late payment. Don’t worry about what Karma shows. Just make up the late payment before 30 days and ask for a fee waiver.
Much appreciated i just use the 3rd parties to check in case they're any serious issues, not so much for the score.
Much apprecited.
