I have never been late with my mortgage payment in 5 years. I have pending a modification through EMC for 9 months now and this month I may pay late after the 15 day grace period but within 30 days. Will I be reported late to the credit burea? I will definitely make sure it's inside the 30 day period. Of course I know I will pay the late fee though. Thank you.
Also keep in mind that if your late again, the creditor will most likely report the late payment regardless if its paid within 30 days. Usually most creditors will give you a 1 strike your out rule before reporting a late each year.
