monitoring services

I have heard that most, if not all monitoring services do not alert in a timely manner.  I have heard that it could be 30-60 days behind.  I would like to be able to monitor when my credit cards are reporting to keep track of my balance to limit ratios, is a monitoring service going to work for me?  If so, which one would be suggested?  Thanks!!!

Re: monitoring services

No credit service that I am aware of provides for automatic and routine daily monitoring and notice to you.

To obtain daily monitoring, you must pull your own CR, which gives you the current info in your file.  But this can be very expensive.

CCCs only report once a month, usually shortly after statement due date.  Then it must go to the CRA for their data entry.  So actual date of posting to your CR is very difficult to determine.

To obtain the date that your CCC reports to the CRAs, you need to call and ask them.
