need advise on CFL and FICO scores

Good morning all, I have read here on the forum about the negative side of having CFL accounts on your CR"S. My main question is this: How to define what is a CFL and what is not I have like 4-5 installment loans form First Family Financial Services from years ago all PIF no lates last one PIF in 2000. Also I have had numerous vehicle Installment loans as well all PIF no lates last one PIF 11-06 Some of the FFFS accounts are right there at the 10 year drop off point. Would it benefit my FICO scores when those accounts fall off How much of point decrease roughly do you think these accounts currently have taken on my scores. All 3 of my FICO are in the high 700"s EQ 791 EX 764 TU 778 Any advise on  this subject would be appreciated. Also any specific course of action anyone would recommend would be very helpful as well. Thanks to all in advance credit 08Insert Smileys

Re: need advise on CFL and FICO scores

CFL only take a few points and IMO the payment history makes up for the lost points in most cases.

I am sure the First Family Financial Services are being treated as CFL's.  The Auto loans are not.

I would not expect many if any points when these drop off.
