I am looking for a small secured loan from someplace so I can have an installment loan on my credit profile. My credit file isnt really good yet, so I am almost positive I can't get an unsecured loan. I am thinking about buying a new computer. Are there any places out there that will give me a loan for that, and report to the CRA's?
I only need a loan of a max of $1000. I was going to use bill me later... but they don't report and I want the good payment history showing.
Are their any companies out there that will give you a secured loan for a computer? Maybe it doesn't even have to be secured.... idk.
Many Credit Unions offer secured installment loans. You don't have to spend the money.

Good Idea, for the OP Alliant Credit Union would be good, this credit union offers secured loans, although they go through EQ for an inquiry, chex systems, and need membership from an organization like PTA (which is very easy)
