no credit reporting with international address

We have a citibank card with a billing address in europe where we currently live.  we just found out that my husband, the primary cardholder, has a credit rating of n/a.  We have no other debt in the US right now.  Is it possible that they do not report our credit because our address is outside of the US? We need to get a rating for my husband.....

Re: no credit reporting with international address

Have you pulled your reports to see if it is reported on them?

Are you still a resident of the United States?

You may be able to get your free annual reports, not sure how that would work in your situation.

Re: no credit reporting with international address

Does your husband have a SS#?  Is it on file with the CCC?  Is he a USA resident and/or citizen?

I'm not sure how international accounts work (if issued by overseas office) since SS# is a USA thing.  But, if the account is an overseas account, you may want to see if it can be transferred to USA division.

If he does not have a SS# on file with the CRA, and your address is not in the USA, then there will not be anything to link the account to for a USA FICO report.

Need to have on file with CCC:

USA Address (you can usually have separate "home" and mailing addresses)

SS# & DOB

These would be my "guesses" Smiley Happy
