prosper.......any thoughts?

Is anyone on here a member of prosper, either in lending or borrowing.  I have been hearing so much about it lately, I was just curious.

I have heard good things. Remember, they use Vantage.

i am a lender on prosper. i really like it because i can invest small amounts of money ($50 at a time) to people who really need help. i go over the listings manually to find who i want to bid on; i am wary about punching in the numbers and letting the computer decide for you. and i think that is why i haven't had any loans default yet since last august. i've done six loans since then and have made over $30 so far, just in interest. i may use prosper in the future to borrow money, but no need for that right now.
