question on aval credit merge to one card and reporting

I have two accounts with one bank that I would like to merge into one larger available credit, my question is will they report the one i close as a -0- credit line -0- balance or will it show at what the credit line was, basically I dont want to screw up my score by having a card show with a -0- credit line.

Both cards are with Barclay, both have a 5k limit, I would rather just use the NFL card with a 10k limit, it's just easier to carry less cards.

Barclay will leave $500 on the donor card and that is the limit that will report.

If a card is closed then the credit available on that card is 0.  Transferring the available credit to another card before closing will mitigate the impact to utilization.  You may not be able to transfer all as stated above but you won't "screw up your score".
