question regarding Citi Not Posting Limit and uti

I have a serious question to ask you guys..

I am one of those (Lucky) people with one of the Citi cards that does NOT post Credit Limits

i have a 6k limit and am using 5k of it because i transfered balances from other cards to it when it was opened

NOW my problem is uti..ITS showing on my credit report as VERY very HIGH uti driving my credit score down through the floor.....

all of my other accounts are very low uti......

this account is killing me

MY question is....I just got a cl increase on one of my other accounts that would cover this ones balance...would it be a good move or bad move to transfer my citi balance to the  other card that does report????

would it help my score????

Re: question regarding Citi Not Posting Limit and uti

I think I read that when a CL is not reported, it uses your "high balance" as your CL when figuring util.

You need to figure your overall util and see if it would change at all. Figure it as it is now and with the Citi having a $0 balance, the other card having the added $5000.

Hope that make sense. If you want post each card's balance and CL. Noting which is the two you would be transferring to and from.

You can also use the score simulator on this site.
