Over the weekend I ordered a 3-1 report through Transunion, and I have a question: The scores for all three bureaus are shown on screen on a bar graph showing a range of 500 to 990. I thought 850 was the highest score possible?
On another note, I am looking to get a car in the near future (that was why I ordered my credit report), and I was wondering, will a car lease appear on my credit report, or do only car loans?
Hi, welcome to the forums!
Transunion has generously supplied you with what we call FAKO scores. They're not FICO's, and there's not a reliable means of translating one to the other.
If you scroll down, and scroll down, and keep scrolling down, you will eventually come to a disclaimer in pale grey and -6 size font that says that their "TransRisk" scores aren't FICO scores.
A lease should appear on your credit reports, as it is an extension of credit. I once had a lease for a Honda, and it reports on all three.
