Does anyone know the best department within the credit card companies to send goodwill letters to in an effort to improve late payment history on credit reports?
I always write "To whom this may concern" or "dear sir or madam" and address it to start to the same address on the CR. If my first couple of rounds of GWs fail, then I'll expand to an officer of the company and address it specifically to them. Some here have posted "attn: credit department", but even company has different names.
