Has anyone had any success removing an inquiry ,or multiple inquiries ?? After applying for a loan with Citifinacial in their branch office and they needing more info I discovered they pulled my report every time I called to verify information. 6 times in two week period !! Their central office wasn't helpful but gave me a dispute address for erroneous credit report, not inquiries, but I sent a letter anyway. After doing research online I discovered you have to have the creditor send you an authorization in writing or they should remove the inquiry. Wouldn't this account for every application made online though ?? Sent the registered letters out and am waiting for a reply and was wondering if anyone has had any luck at this type of dispute.
