reporting employer info to CRAs

So two of my CR don't show any employer and the other one shows the wrong employer. Is it worth sending the correct employer to the CRAs. does it help anything at all? If i should send the info, do i just write them a letter with the name of my current employer or do they need paycheck stubs?

Re: reporting employer info to CRAs

You can add or change employer info online thru the dispute links to the CRAs... with the probable exception of EQ.  EQ you should be able to call.

It's believed that there may be some points to be had for employment history, especially old.  I had so much going on on my CBRs when I corrected mine that I was unable to verify if this was the case for some points I saw.

I personally believe that it is good to have it there, unless you are working out collection issues.   I would not want some CA harassing me at work regarding some account that is not mine.

It is always good to keep the Employer Info on the Credit Report. It provides added value to the CR.
