I had a collection deletion sent in to all three bureaus. If i log in to transunion it has been removed. Credit Karma removed it two days ago. Its still showing on myfico with no change in score. I have the monthly service with myfico. thanks
Mu understanding, and I could be mistaken, is that deletions don't trigger a recalculation- you'll have to wait for some triggering event to receive an updated score.
CK didn't remove anything. CK just provides what's on your TU and EQ reports. It's TU and EQ that peform the removal.
As for myFICO this is a very common topic. myFICO does not update on a fixed schedule. Updates occur based on trigger activity. Make sure you understand the triggers:
For scoring purposes trigger activity does not include all activity with a scoring impact so you cannot relying on the triggers to determine the cause of a scoring change. You have to carefully review reports from before and after the change.
so why does myfico trigger an update with a change in collection on equifax and experian but not transunion?
This is frustrating to me because I am paying to see my updated scores. Transunion has not updated at all. My Discharge has wiped my report clean but yet the score and previous debts before the discharge is still showing. Myfico is really not serving my needs which is to see my updated score as they change.Smh. Very disappointed.
Starting Scores in BK13: EX521,TU537,EX520MyFICO is a good service, but limiting full reports to once per year and the triggers, which cause much confusion and frustration, are major weaknesses. One can miss a lot of changes. CreditCheckTotal.com, operated by Experian, which costs a few bucks more, provides, upon user request, 3 bureau report and FICO 8 scores updated up to 3 times per month (~36 times per year verses one at MyFICO). No waiting for triggers.
