BK friendly auto lenders

Hello.  I posted this message on the BK board and thought I would post it here as well.  I filed a chapter 7 that is being discharged today.  I was advised by my lawyer not to pay my monthly auto loan payments.  As a result I'm 5 months behind.  Before my auto lender will reaffirm my loan they want all of the past due payments to be paid and the loan brought current.  I owe more than the car is worth and there is high mileage.  So, I'm thinking of returning the car.

Does anyone know of a BK friendly auto lender?

Ford Motor Credit gave us a 6% interest on a Ford 150 pickup (07) last March.  But we had been out of our BK for 1.5 years when we went and applied.  Our auto Enhanced FICO at the time was 612. This is the number the car dealer gave us. Also no money down and Tag, Title and Tax included. 

I am not sure with yours being so recent but you can try.

Jamtamash, Do you mean that you had been discharge 1.5 yrs or 1.5 yrs since you had filed for the BK?  Did you have a repo included w/ the BK?  Does it matter whether the BK was a 7 or 13? Do you how what your credit score was around vs your Auto enchance score being 612?  Was this a lease or ownership purchase? 

My bk7 filed 12/06 DC 3/07  pass repo 02 that ended up IIBK. Do you think I have a chance with Ford?
