CitiMortgage

We are currently looking for an FHA lender. CitiMortgage followed up with our emails that we submitted to them in regards to a home loan. Is it normal for the application fee to be $390? This seems a bit high, but this is my first house...

Re: CitiMortgage

Some lenders charge it, most don't... if you don't want to pay an application fee (and who would) find another lender, there are 1000's of them out there that won't charge you an application fee.

Re: CitiMortgage

We did not pay for a loan application, as far as I know, for our FHA loan.  Of course, it could have been added somewhere in closing, and I would be clueless (I tried to follow everything...).
