First Time home buyer here

Hi guys, first time home buyer. Been prepping for a long time with both credit and savings. I plan on starting the process in April, but I have about 7-8 hard inq. Credit sits at about 730-740 depending where you look. Would the hard pulls affect me too much? Also thinking of using BoA grants, anyone have any experience / opinions on this grant?

Edit: Some extra info, completely debt free. Gross annual roughly 70k, gross income average around my area is 50K.

Discover IT $4,300 | US Bank Cash Plus $1000 | Capital One Savor One $1,500 | Citi Custom Cash $2,400 | Citi Double Cash $2,400 | Affinity FCU Cash Rewards $12,000 | American Express Platinum | American Express Gold
- Total Revolving Limits $24,100

Gross Income - ~$90,000
4 Settled CO. Paid for settlement in January 2020~
(Update: December 2022):
AAoA - 2 Years 2 Months
Oldest Card: Discover IT - 2 Year 2 Month
Youngest Card: American Express Gold - Opened February 2023

Current FICO 8 scores:

Whats the reason for the INQs? You will be asked, and may be asked to supply a Letter of Explanation.

NFCU Platinum $50k | Amex Delta Platinum $25k | Elan Financial $19.7k | Chase Freedom Unlimited $16k | Bank Americard $16k | Discover IT $13K | NFCU Flagship Rewards $10k | GS AppleCard $5.5k | Citi Simplicity $3k

No, the HP will not prevent you getting a mortgage, you will just have to supply a letter of explanation for any in the last ~6 months (actual time frame can vary by lender)

Don't know what grant you are talking about so don't have any opinions on it.

Re: First Time home buyer here

INQ are just for credit cards, built back from 550 credit and I took the inq to help with score. I do not plan on having anymore. My downpayment so far is about 10k. Bank of America grant helps up to 10k down payment and 7.5k closing costs.
