Home stretch for me... Basically just waiting on the appraisal, which was scheduled for yesterday. Hoping to have that back this week... And then fingers crossed for final underwriter sign-off!!!

This was the full list if conditions. All pretty basic and none that worry me other then the appraisal.

· Provide 12 month chain of title (we have now)
· Review of home insurance (we have)
· Review of tax transcripts (to ensure same as returns)
· Appraisal review and acceptable value
· Credit report supplement to verify monthly payment and length of student loan deferments
· Show and source funds for closing (you gave me already)

Acceptable appraisal came back today. Everything submitted to underwriter. Broker is hoping for clear to close back Mon or Tues. Fingers crossed and will keep you all posted!

And we are clear to close!  Scheduled for tomorrow morning.  So in about 19 hours I should be able to answer the original question, "Has anyone closed under FHA Back to work program?", with a yes!

That's great to hear!  For me, not so much.  Lender 2 I believe denied it, so we are on lender 3.  In the mean time, we have cancelled contract on the house as there is no way I will have a clear to close on Monday and I don't want to lose my earnest money.  I just got a call from my broker who needed me to get a salary key so the new lender can verify salary from an old employer.  He is going to continue to try to get something to work for me, and if this house sells before he can, then I will look for a new house once he has an approval.  I'm glad it has worked out for you, though!

I can proudly say after several no's and a yes turned no I just closed on my house using the back to work program.

I found an excellent mortgage guy , I can share his contact if anyone want to get approved. He is based in Michigan but has offices in several states .

Congrats mrsmittyone! I closed today as well. . My broker is in Wisconsin, and I would be happy to provide a recommendation here as well. My actual lender was REMN (Real Estate Mortgage Network)... They underwrite loans in 48 states from what I understand.
