EQ (currently 611) has always been my lowest score but unfortunately it's the only real score I have - well TU on here is 611 also. Anyway, I have the appt with the LO on 8/1 to start this whole process and I was hoping to use OHFA bond money as DPA. Their program has always been 620 mid score to qualify. Right now, I have 611 on EQ and 611 on TU with 2 maxed out cards (since paid but not reporting that yet). I knew I could get 9 points out of paying them down but now the OHFA people have changed their requirements to 640 midscore effective 8/1. Can I get 29 points just by paying these 2 cards down or do I need to move on this before the end of the month? Also, the money can't be reserved until I'm under contract - I've already picked the house (not under contract or anything, just picked it out) I was just putting off going in to get the preapproval til the first.
If not the full points you will be probaby get close.
