After waiting a month to be pre-approved for the mortgage loan, then bidding on our first place, then being outbid, then putting in another offer that was accepted, and finally after four months of nerves and stress, we were to close on Friday the 2nd at 3:00. Our lender, Chase, sent all the loan docs plus the funds to disperse right on time. The HUD closing statement was printed up while we were signing a ton of other documents from our lender, title transfer, etc. We signed the HUD Closing Statement then it was sent to the seller "Wells Fargo Bank" since it is a foreclosure. After another 45 minutes the closer gets a call that it will not be able to be signed till Monday - today. My mortgage broker and realtor was irate since they worked so hard to get this complete by Friday! I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I could really use some support right now while I wait for the call that FINALLY the house is mine and I can pick up keys!
